1) About This Calculator

This tool provides an estimate only based on information you supply. It is not a quote, offer, or contract. Final scope and price will be confirmed after a site review, measurements, applicable code checks, and a signed written agreement with The Above & Beyond Construction (“we/us/our”).

3) Your Agreement When You Submit

By submitting the calculator form, you confirm the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and you request and consent to be contacted by us about your estimate and related services.

4) Consent to Electronic & Telephone Communications (CASL)

By submitting, you give express consent for us to send you commercial electronic messages (emails/SMS) and to call you at the contact details you provide for:

  • arranging inspections and discussing your estimate,
  • providing project updates and service information,
  • sending promotions, specials, newsletters, and other marketing about our services.

You may withdraw consent at any time, at no cost, by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP to SMS, or contacting us at info@theaboveandbeyond.ca or 437-984-4402. Withdrawal won’t affect essential communications needed to administer any active project or where we’re otherwise permitted/required by law.

5) Privacy & Personal Information (PIPEDA)

We collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and any photos/videos you upload to assess your project, prepare estimates, and communicate with you as described above.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers (e.g., scheduling, email/SMS platforms) who help us operate, under confidentiality and in compliance with Canadian privacy laws. We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary or as required by law.

6) No Warranties; Limitation of Liability

Calculator outputs are estimates and may differ from your final written contract. To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the estimate or temporary unavailability/errors in the tool. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

7) User Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate measurements and information. Do not upload content that infringes others’ rights or contains malware.

8) Intellectual Property

The calculator and related content are owned by us and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our written permission.

9) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the calculator after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario (subject to mandatory consumer protections).
